Customers Furious After Family Leave Behind Entire Table Of Rubbish At KFC

The mountain of trash has left people furious

The internet has been left outraged by a disgusting pile of trash left behind by a thoughtless family in a KFC branch.

The image, posted on Reddit’s ‘Trashy’ subforum, depicts a veritable mountain of leftover chicken residue spread out across three tables at a Kentucky Fried Chicken at the Al Othaim Mall food court in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

So voluminous is the pile of trash that the table surfaces beneath are hardly even visible underneath the vast pile of plastic and paper containers, leftover bits of food and various empty soda bottles that litter the area.

Piles of waste can also be seen littering the floor, where a large puddle of soda was left to pool around the area without even the slightest effort being made to clean it up.

The infuriating image was shared on Reddit earlier this week by a user going only by the name Xshpeare, and has received thousands of views since it was posted.

According to Xshpeare, the dump was left before by a family of about eight to 10 people.

"I was shocked when I saw how dirty they left it, it was so dirty that three workers had to clean it instead of the usual one," he told Newsweek.

"I even took a picture because I've never seen a mess that bad in a food court."

Littering is illegal in Saudi Arabia and can cost offenders fines of up to 500 Saudi Riyals (£105) for a first breach and double the amount for repeat offenders, although given that this is a food court and the offenders are nowhere to be seen, it's likely that those responsible may have gotten away with their culinary crimes.

“I feel bad for the poor workers who have to deal with entitled people like this every day. It’s not that hard to throw your garbage away,” one Reddit user commented.

“It’s not that hard to throw your garbage away.”

Another user pointed to a bin nearby: “There’s a goddamn bin less than 10 feet away.

"The laziness of some people astounds me.”

Another scathing comment read: “At least they left a bun on the floor to help soak up the soda that they dumped.”

“Literally trashy,” another person quipped.

Since being posted on Monday (2 May), the image has gained over 55,000 upvotes on r/Trashy, with another post on r/mildlyinfuriating generating another 12.5k likes.

Clean up after yourselves when you’re done eating folks, it’s just common courtesy.
