Today is Amazon Prime Day, which means that you can bag yourself hundreds of discounts from the comfort of your computer. The super sale is taking place over two days and will give you the chance to pick up tech, clothes toys and more for cheaper than usual prices.

To take advantage of Prime Day, you'll need to be an Amazon Prime member. We've got all the details on how you can sign up, why you'd want to and how to get £20 off your annual membership.

What does Amazon Prime include?

There are plenty more perks to being an Amazon Prime member than just being able to take part in Prime Day. You'll be able to get unlimited one-day delivery on eligible Amazon products and you'll be able to access Prime Video, Prime Music and Twitch Prime too.

How much is Amazon Prime?

If you're interested in any of the benefits that come with Prime, then it's well worth your money. You can become a member for either £7.99 per month or £79 for the entire year. I'll let you in on a little secret though... You could sign up for a free 30-day trial and cancel for free once Amazon Prime Day is over. I wasn't the one to tell you that though if anyone asks...

Amazon Prime Day Is 15th & 16th July 2019.

How to save £20 on a year of Prime

If a month isn't longer enough for you, then click here. You can join prime for just £59. It's available to new customers and those switching from monthly to annual plans only. After your first year, your Prime membership will renew for £79/year. You can cancel anytime. Offer ends 16 July, 23:59PM BST.

What will be on offer on Prime day?

It'd probably be easier for me to list off what Amazon doesn't sell instead of telling you what's going to be up for grabs over the two-day mega sale. The sale usually has a focus on technology, so we're expecting Amazon's own devices like the Echo, Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick, Kindles and tablets to be heavily discounted. You never know though, maybe the inflatable speedboat or the beach chair with face hole will be discounted too.

Jeff Wilke, Amazon CEO Worldwide Consumer says there might be a few surprises too: "Get ready, as we pull back the curtain to reveal exclusive products, special performances and two full days of phenomenal deals this Prime Day.

"Our vision is that Prime Day should be the absolute best time to be a member - when you can enjoy shopping, savings, entertainment and some of the best deals Prime members have ever seen."

Two of the more exciting purchases you can make include a beer keg for your kitchen and a bracelet that shocks you if you eat too much.
