Miley Cyrus has spoken out for the first time since she confirmed that she and husband Liam Hemsworth were getting a divorce, less that a year after tying the knot.
Sharing a picture of herself Instagram account, stood in front of some mountains, the 26-year-old's cryptic message talked about respecting the planet and evolution.
Alongside the photograph, the singer who is enjoying a holiday in Italy, wrote: "Don't fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of , which was once under water , connected with Africa , change is inevitable.

"The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed. My dad always told me " Nature never hurries but it is always on time".... it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own ...."
Yep, I'm none the wiser either, but whatever. Since she posted the picture, thousands of fans have come out and shown their support for the entertainer.
One person said: "WE ARE ALWAYS HERE TO SUPPORT YOU! ALWAYS! You're amazing human, love you with all my heart. Such beautiful words! Sending positive energy to you always."

A second follower commented: "The most eloquent post-breakup-post there ever was."
"You have an amazing heart and i dont (sic) know a better person than you my angel," said a third.
While another added: "Your amaizing (sic). Your are she. You are miley. You do big things. We love you."
Rumours surrounding the couple's relationship began circulating last week when Cyrus posted a photo to social media where she wasn't wearing her wedding ring.
The photo, which showed her sitting in a chair, was captioned: "Mute me if you don't want SPAMMED."

However, the sad news was confirmed yesterday. In a statement to People magazine, a representative of Cyrus asked for people to respect their privacy.
It read: "Liam and Miley have agreed to spearate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."
