Liam Gallagher made a surprise appearance at the Manchester benefit gig, honouring the victims of last month's bombing.

Tens of thousands of people gathered at Manchester's Old Trafford Cricket Ground for the concert, featuring Take That, Robbie Williams, Little Mix, Coldplay, Pharrell, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and others.

The former Oasis member played his new single 'Wall of Glass' and performed alongside Coldplay's Chris Martin on his old band's 1994 single 'Live Forever', which proved to be a big hit with the audience.


Many were hoping that the surprise performance would lead to brother Noel jumping on the stage to bash out some Oasis classics, but alas our prayers went unanswered.
