At 9am Swedish House Mafia announced that they will be making a comeback as they began a press conference where Steve Angello, Seb Ingrosso and Axwell spoke about why they broke up, and why they decided now was time to return.
According to translations on Twitter, they said: "It will not be a new rougher type music like what is popular right now, it will stay Swedish House Mafia style."
They will be reuniting for a homecoming show at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 4 2019.

The group participated in an unannounced surprise performance at Ultra Music Festival, Miami, earlier this year, giving fans a taste of Swedish House Mafia's imminent return.
With whispers and rumours continuing to swirl since Miami, the news was sort of expected.
They will premiere brand new, never-before-heard music at their first show together in over six years - on home turf, where it all began.
The trio formed in 2008 before announcing they were splitting up on June 24, 2012. They all performed as solo DJs but Angello and Ingrosso often collaborated as they grew up together.
After finding themselves playing the same shows, together with Swedish DJ Eric Prydz, they decided to become 'Swedish House Mafia' until Prydz quit.
They are the guys behind 'Don't You Worry Child' and also remixed songs such as Coldplay's 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' and Usher's 'Euphoria'.
On their final farewell tour, Swedish House Mafia performed across the globe. They paid respect to their hometown, selling out three shows at Friends Arena Stockholm and playing to 133,000 fans, making it the first and last performances in their home country.
According to a press release, Axwell, Ingrosso, and Angello have now chosen to put the past behind them and come together, not just as Swedish House Mafia but as artists, and more importantly as three best friends with a message.
Fans are obviously excited about the news with one taking to social media saying: "Only waited about 9 years to see Swedish House Mafia."
Another added: "Swedish House Mafia can take whatever they want from me. Any dollar, earthly possession, my dignity (although that's already gone), mostly anything they want. They can have it. Because hell or high water I'm seeing them." That's the spirit.
