Tekashi 6ix9ine has been moved to a different area after his secret location was compromised when a neighbour posted a video on to Twitter with his address later being leaked.

The 24-year-old was released from prison early and into house arrest but was posing for the 'gram out on his balcony when he was spotted.

His attorney, Lance Lazzaro, has confirmed to TMZ that Tekashi 6ix9ine has now been relocated in light of this.

The rainbow haired rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was posting videos with stacks of cash from outside what appeared to be his new residence.

Soon enough, a neighbour shared a video of the rapper outside the safe house, saying: "So, I'm in my f**king room. 6ix9ine is literally... he moved in the house behind me. He's taking pictures on the back deck."

This was then shared all over social media with people trying to work out where it was he was staying.

Tekashi isn't currently part of the witness protection programme, although there's no doubt he is a target after securing himself a lesser prison sentence by cooperating with prosecutors against his former gang mates in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

He was facing up to 47 years behind bars for racketeering but got his sentence reduced to 24 months behind bars last year after pleading guilty to nine counts of federal racketeering, weapons-related offenses, and conspiracy, and was due to be released this August.

However he was released early after his lawyer argued that his asthma made him vulnerable to coronavirus while in prison.

Once he was out of jail, the rapper went on a 13-minute Instagram rant defending his actions, admitting: "I snitched, I ratted." He added: "But who was I supposed to be loyal to?"

Tekashi continued to claim he didn't owe anyone loyalty, as the gang members hadn't been loyal to him.

"Where was the loyalty when you were caught on the wire tap trying to kill me?" he said.

"Where was the loyalty when you were trying to kidnap my mother? Where was the loyalty when you stole a million dollars from me? Where was that?

"So who broke it first? I get it, don't fight fire with fire. I'm sorry, but what did I do wrong? Be loyal to n****** who f***in' my baby mums?"
