The Australian man accused of carrying out the Christchurch terror attack has been formally charged with 50 counts of murder.
Brenton Tarrant is expected to front the High Court in Christchurch tomorrow via audio-visual link.
He's received a murder count for each of the victims who died in two mosques in Christchurch as well as 39 counts of attempted murder.

According to the New Zealand Herald, further charges aren't being ruled out. One of those could be trying him under the Terrorism Suppression Act.
He's currently being held at New Zealand's only maximum security prison in Paremoremo, Auckland.
