An American man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife who worked as an online porn model.
William 'Jeff' West, 44, stands accused of beating his wife Kathleen, 42, to death after her partially-naked body was found by a teenager outside the couple's home in Calera, Alabama.
West, an army veteran and non-sworn campus police officer for Birmingham-Southern College, allegedly showed no emotion after being told she was dead, asking: 'What's going on? That's my wife," before putting out his cigarette and re-entering the house, the Mirror reported.

Kathleen was a stay-at-home mum who ran a subscription-based website under the name 'Kitty Kat West', offering visitors 'naughty fun' for the price of £11.50 a month ($16).
The woman - whose adult work was known to West - was a known Marilyn Monroe fan and often posted racy photos for her 50,000 Instagram followers.

AL.com reported that Kathleen was found dead at around 5am on 13 January in the street where the Wests lived along with their 12-year-old daughter.
Just hours before her death, the Wests were spotted on CCTV buying alcohol from a liquor store, laughing and appearing in good spirits together.
William was charged with murder after a month-long investigation with police telling reporters they had gained crucial evidence in the case since his arrest.

According to the father of the 19-year-old woman who found Kathleen's body, the woman found Kathleen's body lying halfway between the street and a front lawn across from the Wests' home.
The woman alerted her father who examined Kathleen's body and discovered that she was already dead.
"He didn't cry, didn't show no facial expressions," the father said when asked about West's reaction to his wife's body being discovered.
Police have since confirmed Kathleen's cause of death as 'blunt force trauma' although it has not yet been revealed by police exactly how she was killed.

Calera Police Chief Sean Lamley said that West was a suspect in his wife's death 'in the very beginning'.
He added that West 'didn't seem to be very upset' when detectives spoke with him twice before his arrest yesterday.
Lamley said: "We know exactly what happened that night. And we do have evidence to support that."
After West's arrest, William's father - also called William - expressed his belief in his son's innocence, saying he had been unaware of Kathleen's adult website until her death.

On 22 January, West posted on Facebook that Kathleen had been buried in a private ceremony, calling her a 'loving wife, mother and daughter who is going to be missed'.
"Today we had a private ceremony for Kat. We made it private due to the fact of the media coverage and from people stalking the family then posting on Facebook in the local area," West wrote.
"I wanted to apologise to all extended family and friends for this, but we had to do this for the security/privacy of the family. To the public, our tragedy is juicy gossip."
