Street Art Has Appeared In Major Cities Demanding Citizenship For The Great Barrier Reef

It's to send a message to politicians and Australians about Citizen Reef.

Street art has started popping up across major Australian cities, calling on authorities to give the Great Barrier Reef citizenship.

While it might sound like a bold strategy, giving the world's largest living organism citizenship means the Australian government will have to start looking after it properly.

The street art is also meant to get the word out to others to sign the petition, which has so far attracted nearly 60,000 signatures.

While we work with the Australian Marine Conservation Society and the Oceanic Preservation Society, along with a team of CITIZEN REEF ambassadors, all you need you to do is click here to help get The Great Barrier Reef the recognition she deserves.

Every vote of support you contribute will directly notify the Australian Government to let them know we are a unified voice who believe this living, breathing Aussie icon, should become a living, breathing Aussie citizen.
