Buying a Porsche is, at best, an aspirational notion for most of us. Buying a yacht, meanwhile, is beyond the realms of possibility for anyone who hasn't just had their lights punched out in Vegas (if Conor McGregor's Instagram is anything to go by), or indeed, any of us who aren't the current owner of Chelsea football club.
So it seems doubly unlikely that we'll get to enjoy the new collaboration between the German luxury car brand and Dynamiq, the high-end boatmakers - first-hand, at least.
If you are a multimillionaire MMA fighter or a Russian oligarch, however, then I'd like to inform you that yes, I do take donations, and yes, there is a new Porsche /Dynamiq yacht out and it looks bloody fantastic.

The Russian-owned, Monaco-based company launched the 35-metre-long, Porsche-designed Dynamiq GTT 115 yacht this week, with head honcho Sergei Dobroserdov calling it "the culmination of a long process of design and development to introduce a new kind of superyacht to the market."
Roland Heiler, the CEO of Studio FA Porsche continued, stating: "Taking the spirit of high-performance sports car styling to the high seas, the Dynamiq GTT 115 is designed to appeal to car lovers and forward-thinking yacht owners who appreciate the advantages of speed, style and our philosophy of intelligent performance."

The boat is made of all-aluminium and boasts a superyacht spa pool - us plebs just have to jump into the ocean, but the great and the good get pools on boats - as well as a discreet dining area, to shield from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. Admittedly the latter is a problem that we haven't had to think about while out on the pedalo in Magaluf.
The craft has a top speed of 21 knots and a maximum cruising range of 3,400 nautical miles, roughly the distance from Saint Tropez to Miami, which is really the sort of journey one should be making in a boat like this.

It'll be a comfy ride as well: the cushions are the same as those in the Porsche 911 R sports car, while interior design has been taken care of by Minotti, with leather furnishings, carbon fibre panelling and Sahara noir marble.
After all, when you're driving around in a yacht that costs a packet - they haven't announced how big the packet is yet, but let's assume it's large - you hardly want flowery cushions and anaglypta wallpaper, do you?
