A reckless biker was caught on film doing wheelies and driving at 175mph, moments before causing a horrific crash which injured him and three others.

Twenty-nine-year-old Adam Wilde was jailed after causing the crash, which left his 16-year-old passenger Georgina Saville and another man with life-changing injuries.

Wilde was part of a group of seven bikes, carrying nine people, riding from Southampton to Weymouth last May.

Alongside Wilde, 21-year-old Daniel Lincoln and Nima Biniaz, 19, were also jailed following the collision.

The footage was caught on one of the group's body cam, and was shown in court.

In the clip, Wilde and Biniaz can be seen doing wheelies and travelling at high speeds.

At one point they can be seen overtaking on a solid white line.

Wilde could be heard telling his young passenger: "175 in fifth gear and still more to go".

The teenager then replies: "Don't encourage him, I'll die."

A crash investigator said the crash was caused after Wilde attempted to overtake another vehicle and ran into Kieron Kimber on another bike. Kimber was thrown from his bike, which resulted in him being run over by another rider, Jonathan Attree, who then also came off his bike.

Kimber, 24, was left with a severely broken lower leg in the incident, and even a year later is still wearing a metal cage over his leg.

He also tore his liver and kidney, broke his arm, a finger and partially severed his toe.

Teenage passenger Saville slid around 57 yards after coming off the bike at an estimated 61mph.

She was diagnosed with two bleeds on the brain, severe damage to both arms and a wound to the abdomen.

The break in her right arm was so bad she has had to have a metal plate fitted, to replace her elbow.

She said: "Nothing will ever make what happened okay, he was playing with my life in his hands.

"I have lost the ability to write and cannot continue my passion for drawing. All for one man to be reckless on the road and show off. Justice will never be done, he took away my A-levels, my job, my elbow, my life."

Wilde, who claims to have no memory of the crash, ended up with a fractured shoulder blade, dislocated thumb and fractured toe.

Wilde was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in jail, and is banned from driving for five years.

Lincoln was handed a 12-month sentence suspended for 18 months, 150 hours of unpaid work, a six-month curfew and an 18-month driving ban.

Biniaz was given an eight-month sentence suspended for 15 months, 150 hours of unpaid work, a four-month curfew and a two-year driving ban.
