Father Of Murder Victim Uses Grenade To Blow Up Ukrainian Courtroom

The father of a murder victim has used two grenades to blow up a courtroom in Ukraine during a trial.

The man died on the spot and wounded seven others, including three defendants, two convoy officers, a court employee and a civilian.

A spokesperson for the National Police, Yaroslav Trakalo, has told Ukrainska Pravda: "At 11.20am when hearing a case about the murder, the man pulled out, according to preliminary data, two grenades and blew them up.

"The man died on the spot after the explosion."

All seven victims have been taken to hospital for treatment.

The distraught father was attending the trial for his son's murder, which took place last year.
