The angry father who lunged at Larry Nassar in court on Friday has spoken out about the incident.

Randall Margraves, whose three daughters were sexually assaulted by the former USA Gymnastics doctor, was stood in the podium while Madison Rae Margraves and her sister Lauren gave their victim impact statements.

He then asked Judge Janice Cunningham for five minutes alone with the 'demon', and when his request was turned down he instead asked for 'just a minute'.

However, he was refused again - which was when he threw himself towards the defence table shouting 'let me at him', before he was tackled by court room officials and lead in handcuffs from the room.

Margraves has now spoken out about what happened, telling CBS News: "I ended up delivering unknowingly all three of my daughters to a demon that had his own personal twisted, sick agenda.

"I'll never forgive that guy."

He added: "I am no hero, my daughters are the heroes, and all the other victims.

"I did not think about wanting to kill him, but I did want to inflict some pain."

At the time, Judge Janice Cunningham was quick to deflate the situation.

"I recognize that Mr. Margraves has three daughters that he had to watch go through this pain and hurt," she said.

"If it is hard and difficult for me to hear what his daughters had to say, I can't imagine what it is like for him."

Cunningham then added: "What Mr. Nassar did was horrible. It's unthinkable. But please let the criminal justice system do what it's supposed to do."

The incident picked up a great deal of attention - even Dwayne Johnson took to Twitter to say he 'understands' the reaction that Margraves had.

In a post, the father of two, wrote: "We all understand this father's action. Nassar's punishment will go far beyond sentencing. Behind bars, he'll soon know what hell means. He'll be well taken care of."

Last week the former US Gymnastics team doctor was sentenced for up to 175 for his vile crimes against over 150 women and girls, spanning across two decades.

Sentencing him last week, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina said: "I just signed your death warrant. I find that you don't get it, that you're a danger, that you remain a danger."

As well as his sentence for sexual assault, Nassar has a 60-year sentence for possessing images of child abuse.
