This Cigar Glass Is Genius And We Definitely Want It For Christmas

No doubt you've got huge plans this Christmas, even if they largely amount to doing, as Micky Flanagan puts it, 'Proper Fuck All'. Chilling out in an armchair, whisky in one hand and - if you're baller enough - cigar in the other.

But what if we told you that this Christmas you can do Even Less Than Proper Fuck All, killing two birds with one stone?

Enter the cigar glass, a heroic invention where clever design saves you the effort of holding a grand total of two things.

Part rocks glass and part cigar holder, the nifty glass lets you smoke and sip simultaneously, meaning you can more easily sink back into a darkly lit, comfy corner with both.

No more having to get up, reach out or, better still, flick ash all over yourself.

The glass is made by Corkcircle and holds up to 9oz of liquid (approx 250ml) alongside the cigar, which fits neatly into a purpose-made holder.

It costs just under $20 (£15), and for a bit extra you can even up your game by getting it monogrammed. In short, it's perfect present material - even if that present is for you.

There's definitely nothing wrong with throwing in a measure (or two) of neat whisky, but if you want to push the boat out this Christmas, why not upgrade to a Whisky Sour?

This classic cocktail is not only tasty AF, but is also a bit easier to make than others like an Old Fashioned.

More importantly, the few ingredients it requires are definitely ones have knocking about, which means not having to nip out to obscure corner shops on Christmas Day.

A Whisky Sour is basically two parts of whisky to one part of lemon juice (2oz/50ml whisky and 1oz/25ml lemon juice, say), with a little sugar syrup and egg white. For the sugar syrup, it's just a case of boiling equal measures of sugar and water and letting it cool.

Be sure to give it a hard shake with ice to break the egg down, before pouring into the glass over ice - and grabbing a cigar.

Now sit back, have a sip and take a puff. This is the good life.
