Harvey Weinstein Has Been Charged With Raping Two Women

Police have charged Harvey Weinstein with rape, sex abuse and other crimes against two women.

This follows months of allegations from women in Hollywood that they were groomed, sexually assaulted and raped by the movie mogul.

Earlier today, Weinstein handed himself into police in New York to answer detectives' questions.

An official statement from the NYPD, according to the BBC, said the 66-year-old 'was arrested, processed and charged with rape, criminal sex act, sex abuse and sexual misconduct for incidents involving two separate women'.

Ever since the allegations started pouring in, Weinstein has denied he ever had non-consensual sex with anyone.
