Could there be a legendary Pokémon hiding in North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un's palace?
Well, according to a rumour spread amongst South Korean fans, that's exactly where a Mewtwo can be found on Pokémon Go.
Is there any truth to the rumour? Who knows.
It's also been put about that there's a Mewtwo hiding in a secret nuclear testing site in the country. Although that could just be some weapons-grade bullshit.
The Metro has also reported that others are suggesting that Pokémon gyms are available in the demilitarised zone (DMZ) between the two countries. This is a heavily guarded area where at least 500 people have been killed when trying to cross the border.
To be honest, there's only one way to find out. If anyone fancies taking one for the team and booking a flight to the totalitarian dictatorship, be sure to report back.
Advert
My gut instinct is no - because it's literally just a 'rumour'. But, still, with nobody in the free world able to investigate, it's a case of Schrödinger's Mewtwo.
