The Russian defence ministry has reported that they believe that they've killed the leader of ISIS.

An air strike targeted a meeting of ISIS leaders, including kingpin Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, on 28th May.

RIA news agency quoted the Russian defence ministry as saying: "According to the information which is now being checked via various channels, Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who was eliminated by the air strike, was also present at the meeting."
In the past, there have been several unverified reports of his death. This is the first time that intelligence has pointed towards a verification.
