He also criticised state and federal governments for allowing these people more rights.

Israel Folau is preparing to rinse Rugby Australia for sacking him because of a social media post about gays going to hell.

But in the meantime, the former Wallaby hasn't stopped preaching his views about the LGBT community.

During a sermon at his Sydney church, the 30-year-old went in on gays, transgender children and the government allowing both these groups to have more rights.

The Daily Telegraph reports he told church goers: "You see in today's youths and everything, they are allowing young kids in primary school to be able to have the permission to change their gender if they want by taking away the permission of their parents.

"Now they are trying to take control as a government to make those decisions for young kids who are basically 16 years old or younger, they don't even know what they are doing.

"This is what the devil is trying to do, to instil into the government, into this world, into society, and it is slowly happening. The sad thing is why a lot of people out there that are non-Christians say bad things about the church, is because a lot of the churches allow those things to happen.

"They say that a man and a man should be able to be married and there is nothing wrong with it. This buys into the theme of pleasing man rather than pleasing God and standing up for the truth."

Folau added that life can sometimes be hard as a Christian, however they need to stick closer to God when people challenge you.

He hinted at his recent sacking by Rugby Australia and urged people inside the church that it's more important to stand by the word of the Lord in the workforce rather than agree with sin.

Folau will meet with RA officials later this month to hash out their issues following the rugby player's dismissal.

He was locked in a bitter battle with his employer after posting a picture on Instagram of a list of people, including homosexuals, who would be going to hell because of their sinful ways.

If talks with Rugby Australia fall through then it'll go to an official formal hearing where Folau will be seeking 'substantial remedies' for not only the $4 million contract loss, but also a loss of sponsorship and marketing opportunities.

It's reported Folau will rely on the clause of the Fair Work Commission that someone can't be sacked because of their religion.
