Getting a tattoo of someone's face is always risky business, in my opinion. The chances of it going wrong and looking either nothing like the person it's supposed to, or even worse, like someone else, always seem quite high.

This is the reality that poor Jodie Marsh is living through. The former glamour model and body builder is known for her love of tattoos, so for her latest inking she decided to pay tribute to someone that she says she's loved since day dot - Freddie Mercury.

The man is a legend, there's no doubt about it - it seems like a good choice at first. So when one of her friends opened up a tattoo studio in Warwick, Jodie thought she'd jump at the chance to get in there on its first day.

Speaking to the Warwick Courier, Jodie said: "I am so proud of Georgia. She tattooed me for the first time around 10 years ago in someone else's shop and I said to her that should have her own shop because she is so good. I had people stopping me in the street asking who did my tattoo, now I can send everyone here.

"I wouldn't have come all the way from Essex if she wasn't the best. She is going to smash it here in Warwick.

"I have wanted Freddie for ages," she added. "I have been a Queen fan all my life and the second record that I bought as a kid was Queen and I have always loved them."

So far, so good. But when Jodie put her tattoo on Instragram - it all went a bit pear shaped.

People don't seem convinced that it looks that much like Freddie, with comparisons of all sorts being made.

One guy started it off, commenting: "Why have you got Chris Kamara?", which started everyone piping up with the Kamara bants. Paraphrasing the football pundit's most famous line, someone else replied: "Unbelievable tattoo Jeff", while another observed that it looks like Kamara eating a cornetto.

The comparisons came in thick and fast. One user said: "Looks like Carlton from the Fresh Prince", someone else jibed: "It looks more like Borat"; others said it looks like Will Smith, Barack Obama and even Ken Dodd.

Another person asked: "Has he been in an industrial accident?"

The internet is a cruel place - ignore the haters Jodie, you do you, mate.
