A girl who stabbed a paedophile who abused her has had a judge offer to pay her court fines after he refused to send her to jail.
The girl, who was 14-years-old at the time, attacked the man in his home in Bradford.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC, who was in charge of the trial, thought it'd be a 'disgrace' if she were to go to jail for stabbing the paedophile.

After hearing that the girls abuser ruined her life, after sexually assaulting her at 8-years-old, he refused to impose a mandatory victim surcharge and offered to pay it himself if she was forced to pay it.
"If anyone tries to force you, I will pay it myself. It would be a disgrace to send a survivor like you to prison," he told the court.
The attacker was originally spared jail after assaulting her and was instead given a community order, which lead to the victim feeling like the judicial system had let her down.
The girl, who can't be named for legal reasons, used a kitchen knife in November of last year to stab the man in the chest.

Following the stabbing she told her aunt: "tell my mum I love her," and then handed herself in to Trafalgar House Police station, in Bradford city centre.
The girl, now 15-years-old, was originally charged with attempted murder but the Crown accepted her plea of guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
