A teenage lad who was injured in the airport attack in Brussels was also caught up in the Boston Marathon bombings and was in Paris on November 13 last year.
Mason Wells, 19, who is a Mormon missionary from Utah, was hit by shrapnel from the blasts yesterday at Zaventem airport.
He was also near the site of the Paris attacks, and only a block away from the Boston Marathon finish line back in 2013.
His father, Chad, told ABC News: "This is his third terrorist attack. This is the third time that sadly in our society that we have a connection to a bomb blast.
"We live in a dangerous world and not everyone is kind and loving. He shared with us that he was extremely close to the blast where he was burned by it.
"It's a blessing from God he's alive."
