We've all had big nights out. We've all had nights that get somewhat out of hand. We've had nights that, to paraphrase Super Hans from Peep Show, go beyond fun and actually get really, really nasty. Or is that just me?
It's not just me, actually, because a man appeared in court yesterday in relation to a five-day bender that ended with him being caught by police wearing a woman's bra over his shirt and filling a bath in a Travelodge with potatoes.

James Johnson, 30, was discovered in this state at the Travelodge in Eastleigh, Hampshire, after police had been called to his room to investigate the small of cannabis that was emitting from it, reports the Mirror.
When they arrived, they found a range of drugs in the room, including ecstasy pills, 5-MAPB (similar to MDMA) and powerful hallucinogenic 2CB.
"It felt like the right thing to do at the time," was the only excuse that Johnson could give when questioned on his behaviour by Judge Peter Henry in court.

The court was informed that Johnson and two other friends had returned to his home town of Eastleigh for a night out, which had escalated into a five-day long session. That might seem like the sort of thing for which he should receive a medal, but all it earned him was a date at Southampton Crown Court.
"They saw Johnson with the bag of potatoes and in women's clothing," said James Kellam, prosecuting. "It may be this that led officers to believe that he was intoxicated." You think?
Johnson, who is a volunteer worker, had stopped taking the medication that he had been prescribed when he began his Class A binge.

His lawyer described him as an 'intelligent man who made a mistake' and said that he was 'remorseful' regarding his behaviour.
On a further search of his home in Ely, Cambridgeshire, a raft of other drugs were discovered and Johnson was initially charged with possession with intent to supply, though these charges were dropped after pharmacological testing uncovered that the value of the drugs was just £300. Mr Johnson had paid £750 for them on the dark web.
He was sentenced to an 18-month community order and mandated to attend a nine-month drug rehabilitation programme.
