A man was rushed to hospital in Thailand after he sliced his own penis while watching porn.
The 30-year-old man was reported to have been watching 'hardcore porn' on his phone at home when he was 'sent into a frenzy'.
Taking a knife, he began to slice the skin from his penis, causing an 'uncontrollable' flow of blood. Seeing the blood, the man panicked and called emergency services while attempting to stem the blood loss himself.
When medics arrived, he was found naked, covered in blood and holding his genitals at his fourth-floor apartment in the Khet Nong Chok district of Bangkok on Monday night.
When quizzed by medics, he told them he had been watching porn when the incident happened and lay the blame on the videos for making him want to attack his penis, but wouldn't go into further detail.
The paramedic who took the gruesome photos said: "The man was unwilling to co-operate fully. He said, 'I was watching porn, I was watching porn'.
"He blamed the videos for making him get too excited. He would not say anything more or tell us more details.
"We provided medical assistance and transferred him to hospital."
He was taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries and is said to be recovering. Somewhat miraculously, the man is reported to have suffered no long-term damage to his member - although he will be left with a scar.
Officers from the local Prachasamran Police Station who were informed of the bloodbath said no charges would be brought against the man because he caused the injuries himself.
