There is nothing on this planet worse than gearing yourself up for your morning bowl of your favourite cereal - obly to discover there's no milk in.

Well one guy has experienced this devastation repeatedly over the past few weeks as someone has been stealing his 4am milk delivery. But instead of calling police in to deal with the appalling crime - Damon Hudson has taken matters into his own hands.

Damon was fuming that his milk went missing.

The 25-year-old IT support engineer decided that first off, he would need some concrete evidence that someone was in fact stealing his milk delivery. He went all private detective and installed a camera into his doorbell so he could catch the thief red-handed.

"My milk delivery means the world to me," said Mr Hudson, who lives with his family.

"My little brother and sister can't function without their cereal in the morning. [The person] is stopping them from enjoying the morning pleasures of breakfast.

"It was annoying. Not the end of the world, but a wind up that they feel the need to do this.

"I've not called the police yet. I've instead gone about it in a different way."

Damon, from St Ives, says that the person has allegedly been stealing about two cartons of milk out of three deliveries each week.

Damon says that he first realised his milk was being 'stolen' in the third week in May, when he was shocked to discover a whole lot of nothing where his cartons would usually be left.

He told Cambridgeshire Live: "We have a doorbell which has video footage, so I looked through it and found them."

Gotcha.

He said that he does not want to call police because 'they have better things to do than a milk stealer.'

Fair point, Damon.

But then when he lost out on his milk for a second week in a row, Mr Hudson had really had enough.

He added a couple of delicious new ingredients to the milk - fish oil and his own urine. Yep. He had a wee in the milk.

He then left it outside, praying that the milk robber would be up to their old tricks.

To his joy, the cheeky milk thief arrived right on schedule to take the milk.

"Hopefully that's the end," he said.

"The weirdo deserves it."

There's a lesson to be learnt here - mess with Damon at your own risk.
