An actress and model has begun a crowdfunding page to raise cash to get her painful breast implants removed.
Mayela Caldera, from Venezuela but who now lives in the US, is calling on her 31,400 Instagram followers to help raise the necessary £9,180 ($12,000) needed to have the implants taken out after being left in 'intense pain', which is leaving her unable to work.
Sharing her story on her GoFundMe page, she wrote: "I have a complication with my breast implants, and they should be removed as soon as possible. Health insurance does not cover this type of surgery and that is why I have opened this GoFundMe campaign."

Mayela says that due to the pain, she can't work, which means she can no longer send money back to her family who still live in crisis-hit Venezuela, where inflation is tipped to hit 10 million per cent this year.
After experiencing pain in her left breast around a year ago, Mayela says she initially told it was most likely due to stress - and as she was going through some family problems at the time she thought that was correct.
However, in October last year, the pain got worse prompting her to seek a second opinion on its cause; in the end, Mayela seen six doctors before finally being told what was wrong.

She wrote: "In January, the pain moved very strongly to the left arm, preventing movement, since then I have difficulty sleeping and I have inflammation in the whole area of the armpit and chest with a lot of pain.
"My left mammary implant has moved about 4cm (1.6 ins) to the left and is pressing on a nerve between the ribs which connects to my back and arm.
"The pain is as intense as that of the sciatic nerve and it is very likely that part of the silicone is attached to it, if so, the doctor must remove part of the nerve and this would cause the loss of sensitivity of my left side.
"It has been very hard to deal with my health situation all these months, the costs of medicine here in the United States are very high and it is very frustrating to know that you need urgent specialised medical attention but do not have enough resources to cover it.
"Yesterday when the doctor told me 'You will be fine, I'm going to take away the pain', I cried and cried because there have been so many months of uncertainty, of pain...

"I am very affected by everything that my family and my people suffer in my country, Venezuela, I try to do everything possible to get ahead, looking for work, with the hope of being able to help my parents back in Caracas.
"But my body will not give anymore and the pain every day when I wake up demotivates me, it takes away my strength."
So far, Mayela has raised £1,194 ($1,558) of her £9,180 ($12,000) goal.
