A murder investigation has been opened after a man died at a 'swingers' party' in Surrey.

Police and paramedics were called to the mansion in Headey at around 2.30am on Monday in response to a call about a disturbance.

A man in his 30s was found unconscious and was pronounced dead at the scene. There are also reports that others were injured at the party.

According to the Mirror, the 'swinging pool party' costs £75 a ticket and has attracted 500 people to the Surrey village. One neighbour told the Mirror: "You could see people coming from the house covered in those foil blankets and obviously extremely distressed."

Police visited the same property earlier in the day to tell the guests to keep the noise down.

No arrests have been made yet and the dead man has not been formally identified.
