A group of men and women wearing bondage gear have been involved in a police raid at a sex club in Russia - and, as is always the case these days, the whole thing was caught on camera.

Russian police seized a huge pile of sex toys, among which included everything from whips and handcuffs through to dildos.

The scene apparently looked as though it had been the setting for BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Dominance and Submission), which involves role-playing and a range of sadomasochistic erotic practices.

It reportedly took place in an undisclosed Russian city, with some reports claiming it was in the south-western city of Rostov-on-Don, in Rostov Oblast, with others saying it was the far-eastern city of Khabarovsk in Khabarovsk Krai.

One of the police officers carrying out the raid decided to film the drama unfolding, capturing the moment his colleagues had to carefully tip-toe around the bare-bottomed, scantily-clad people, who were lying on the floor.

At one point, you can hear him joke: "It's a BDSM club, it's OK to make it hurt."

The police officer then asks a man - who he refers to as 'Chef' - where the owner of the club is, but it seems he's nowhere to be found.

Police believe it had been the setting for a BDSM party.

People who had seen the video no social media and video-sharing platforms had a lot to say about the shocking scenes, with many confused as to why police had been raiding the venue - including someone who asked: "What did they do wrong?"

Another added: "This is adults people getting high and having fun as they want. BDSM is the sexual fantasy number one among the population."

It has not yet been reported why the police raid at the club took place, as BDSM is not illegal in Russia. However, the club may have apparently fallen foul of licensing laws.

To be honest, while the police officer's commentary is pretty amusing, we'd have much rather Phillip Schofield - who recently made a hilarious blunder with a 'Great, big, buzzing dildo' on This Morning.

He'd been leading a discussion on vibrators on the morning show, following news that a UK supermarket had launched a new line of sex toys - which it said would be stocked on the top shelf, away from prying eyes.

Vanessa Feltz, a guest on the show, argued that this could expose children to a whole world of sexuality - but Schofe wasn't convinced, telling her: "It's not as if there is some great, big, buzzing vibrator on the top shelf," he said.

"These are subtle. If you've got small children you can't really tell what they are."

Then, just to completely go against the point he made, he accidentally dropped them, dramatically sending them crashing to the floor as he said they'd 'vibrated' out of his hand.

Oh, Schofe. Never change.
