Bros from other mos Barack Obama and Joe Biden have gone that extra step after the president surprised the vice president with the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction.
In his speech, a tearful Biden thanked Obama, White House staff, his wife Jill and First Lady Michelle Obama.
"I get a lot of credit I don't deserve because I've had so many people to lean on," he said.

"Mr President, you know that with good reason there is no power in the vice presidency ... and there is no inherent power, nor should there be," he added. "Mr President, you have more than kept your commitment to me by saying that you wanted me to help govern.
"Every single thing you've asked me to do, Mr President, you have trusted me to do. And that is a remarkable thing."

Biden and Obama's relationship was memefied (sorry) following the general election in November, in which the vice president was portrayed as an easy-going, foolish, rule breaker (again, sorry, I sound about fucking 80 here).
Here's a pick:
Trump and Pence are gonna have to top that. God help us all.
