Ryanair Has Launched An Easter Sale With Flights From £4.99

The main thing stopping us from going on holiday all the time is money, because holidays usually require lots of the stuff. But Ryanair's latest sale almost makes it seem silly to not go on holiday.

Indeed, most of us have fantasised about booking a last minute holiday at some point (if not many points) in our lives, and today could just be the day to go for it.

Ryanair is offering 20 percent off on up to 500,000 tickets for flights in April and May, and with many of the airline's fares already incredibly low, that means you can jet abroad for as little as £4.99, which is quite frankly ridiculous.

From London Stansted, you can get to about 10 destinations in France, as well as Frankfurt in Germany, for less than a fiver. For context, you'd need more than a fiver for a pint of Stella Artois, San Miguel, Heineken or Guinness at the London Stansted Wetherspoon pub.

For just a couple of quid more, you can fly out to cities across Poland, Norway, Italy, Ukraine, Morocco and Poland, with flights to Verona from £5.99, Warsaw from £7.99 and Madrid from £8.99.

You can even head out to popular spots such as Barcelona, Ibiza and Dortmund from £9.99. In fact, you can get a Barcelona return from as little as £22, so you can almost get back just as cheaply.

If you're not sure whether or not Ryanair fly from near you, here's a list of locations Ryanair flies from in the UK: Aberdeen, Belfast International, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Derry, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, London Gatwick, London Luton, London Stansted, Manchester, Newcastle and Newquay, Cornwall.

So, what is the catch? Well, the sale doesn't mean that all flights are 20 percent cheaper, so you're still likely to pay quite a bit more for weekend travel at a convenient time of day. But if you don't mind an early morning flight on a Tuesday then you really can find some absolute steals.

The main catch is that the sale ends at midnight tonight, so you don't really have time to deliberate much. Then again, how much deliberating do you really need to do when you can get some European Easter sun for less than a tenner? Indeed, the biggest challenge is probably going to be deciding where to go.
