Six Police Officers Shot During Ongoing Stand Off In Philadelphia

Six police officers have been shot during a long stand off in Philadelphia.

According to CNN, the injuries aren't life-threatening and people in the area have been told to avoid the area as the stand off continues.

Nearby Temple University Health Science's campus was sent into lockdown as police continue to try and bring the stand off to an end.

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney and Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross are heading to Temple University Hospital to see the injured officers.
