Solicitors are refusing to represent the killer of Lee Rigby after his teeth were kicked out in prison because they don't want to be associated with the murderer.

Michael Adebolajo, 31, wanted up to £20,000 worth of taxpayers' money to fight his corner but no one wants to take the case.

The extremist killer launched a legal battle against the prison service after he lost two teeth when being restrained by officers while going berserk in prison.

The five officers who tackled him to the ground at Belmarsh were suspended, investigated and then cleared of any wrongdoing.

A source is quoted in The Sun as saying: "Adebolajo has found it impossible to get a solicitor to take on his case. The feeling is that by representing him it would be like taking blood money.

"Nobody wants to associate their name with the killer of Lee Rigby."

In December 2013, Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale, 25, were convicted at the Old Bailey of the murder of Fusilier, husband and father Lee Rigby in Woolwich, south east London, having murdered him on May 22 that year.

Adebolajo is currently serving a whole-life prison sentence while Adebowale must serve at least 45 years behind bars.
