A teenager in Florida has been arrested after being filmed wrestling with a fake alligator in a shopping mall, having also tried to 'RKO' the plastic animal.

You may have seen Gianny Sosa-Hernandez's name hit the headlines recently, after he landed himself in trouble for allegedly trying to RKO his own school principal.

But the 18-year-old found himself in court once again - the second time in one week - for damaging a life-size plastic alligator at The Falls Shopping Centre in Miami-Dade County last month.

According to the police, Sosa-Hernandez was caught in mobile phone footage taking off his top and grabbing the display animal, before throwing it into a shallow pond at the mall.

Just days after his first court appearance, on 16 April the teenager stood before judge Renetha Francis - who addressed him by rolling her eyes and saying: "You're back."

Sosa's Instagram page featured videos of dangerous stunts similar to those seen in Jackass, which often caused injury to the stars.

According to the Miami Herald, Francis told him the teen he has 'got to find something else to do', or he runs the risk of damaging his reputation with the negative viral fame.

Francis added: "You're just going to keep coming back here and keep being a media sensation for all the wrong reasons."

Sosa's sister, Camila, defended her younger sibling and explained the reason why he performs such stunts.

"He was just doing the videos for fun," she said.

"He's always trying to make people laugh. He's never tried to harm anyone. He's just trying to have a good time and be a kid."

On 11 April, Sosa was charged with battery on a school official after trying wrestler Randy Orton's famous finisher on Miami Southridge Senior High School's principal.

In footage that went viral, the teenager can be heard shouting: "RKO," before principal manages to stop the move from landing properly by catching the student in mid-air.

Humberto Miret, who was identified as the victim, was not hurt in the incident, according to the arrest report.
