The trio shared their adventures on YouTube channel High On Life, a group of vloggers who post about travelling.

According to the BBC, police said they died while swimming after they 'slipped and fell into a pool 30m below'.

Fans of the YouTubers have rushed to social media to pay tributes following the shocking news.

A GoFundMe page has been set up with an aim to raise $100,000 to help pay for funeral arrangements and a memorial.

The friend who set up the page wrote: "There are truly no words that can be said to ease the pain and the devastation that their families are all going through right now," before asking for donations for the family and requesting that fans use the page to share happy memories.

The statement read: "The family would love to hear anything or everything on how High On Life may have inspired you. A story, a picture, a song, a video - use the hashtag #HOLinspired so we can collect all of your love and thoughts in one place.

"Even if you cannot provide a donation please post on whatever platform you frequent."
