Serina Wolfe, 24, was annoyed with her boyfriend for refusing to pay for her return flight to New York... seems reasonable, right?

Most people have specific tactics in place for the times when their partner really riles them up. They might hide car keys, give them the silent treatment for the rest of the day or just go out and get wasted.

But what one woman allegedly did topped everything (ever) when she allegedly decided to spend $5,000 on her boyfriend's credit card. Why would someone do that, you might be wondering. Well, he refused to pay for her return flight to New York.

It is claimed that when Serina Wolfe, 24 from Buffalo, New York, was given her bill at the Clear Sky Beachside Cafe in Clearwater, Florida, on June 27 she just didn't think the normal 20 per cent tip would cut it.

So she decided to add $5,000 (£4,000) to it taking it from a $55.37 to $5,055.37...

ABC News reported that Wolfe's boyfriend, Michael Crane, claims that the pair got into an argument because he refused to buy her plane ticket to return to New York.

According to the affidavit, Mr Crane believed that Wolfe 'was drunk or trying to get back at him'.

FOX News reported that Mr Crane's credit card company informed the restaurant of the allegations but the eatery had already paid the tip to the waitress.

Initially Wolfe denied that the purchase was hers but later admitted it to the police when she was arrested and charged for grand theft.

If your partner doesn't have $5,000 for you to blow then it might be worth brushing up on your Photoshop skills and simply elongating your girlfriend/boyfriend's forehead like Theodore Gussie does.

Gussie revealed that when his partner Adilene Venegas gets on his nerves, he edits her forehead to look bigger than it is.

Thoedore, from Chicago, shared an example of his handiwork, posting the before and after photos of his poor girlfriend. The key here is the subtlety - it doesn't look ridiculous, but it does definitely look bigger.

But don't go thinking it was one way. Adilene was not going to just sit there and take it. She got revenge herself, sharing a photo of her fella. She'd done a it of editing herself though, and managed to pop a pair of balls on to his chin. Gwarn girl.

Hats off to this pair for one-upping each other. All that's left to do now is for Serina Wolfe's boyfriend to spent $7,000 on her credit card... or maybe not.
