Well, one bloke has realised what can happen when you doze off before your booty call arrives.
A New Jersey man was prepping for Taija Russell, 29, to come over to his place earlier this month. However, when he fell asleep before Taija arrived, she allegedly went ballistic.
She's accused of sending the unnamed man a barrage of angry messages to his phone as well as banging on his door to hopefully awake him from his deep slumber, according to USA Today.
Sadly, none of that worked.
So Russell allegedly bought some lighter fluid at a nearby petrol station around 4am and returned to the bloke's place. Police say she started a fire at the front door, which was the only way to get in or out of the property.
The man woke up half an hour later to find his home ablaze and, realising the door was consumed with flames, decided to go out the window. He had to be treated for second-degree burns and smoke inhalation, according to the Metro.
The victim was also able to get his dog out of the property without it sustaining serious injury.
While the man and his dog escaped, firefighters weren't able to save what was inside his home with authorities saying the blaze destroyed the property and its contents.
Police got hold of the messages Taija reportedly sent to the victim, which included 'I see you wanna die' and 'You wasted my money to come out here'.
Legal documents state the victim considers Russell as a 'side chick whom he had been having a sexual relationship with'. Guess that relationship is most definitely over now.
Russell is now being held on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated arson, aggravated assault, endangering or creating substantial risk of death and criminal mischief.
