Woman Who Pushed Friend Off A 60-Foot Bridge Could Face Prison

You’ve probably done stupid things before, but have you ever decided to push a friend off a bridge? Well, this girl did exactly that.

Okay, there are times when you want to have a joke with your pal, but you've got to ask some serious questions before you push your friend off a bridge.

Enter Taylor Smith, who has been charged with pushing her friend Jordan Holgerson off a 60-FOOT bridge. Yeah, this isn't like falling off a fence in school or daring your mate to jump off a wall when you're out on a piss-up.

The 18-year-old has been charged with reckless endangerment, which can carry up to a year in jail and a maximum fine of $5,000, according to ABC News.

Taylor suggests that Jordan asked her to push her off the Moulton Falls Bridge in Washington. That's going to be a tough sell, Taylor, especially as NBC News posted an extended version of the video where you can see a scared Jordan say 'stop' and 'wait' for fifteen minutes before she's pushed off.

"Just go, you promised you would do it," Taylor said in the video. "I'm going to push you. I don't care. I'd jump in there to save you if anything happens. Jordan, I got you."

You can fully imagine that it was a painful fall, too. Yeah, Jordan didn't walk away from the fall without several broken ribs and punctured lungs. Thankfully, it's a plunge off the bridge that didn't cost Jordan her life.

If you're going to do something like this - please don't - then you better be prepared for the consequences.

Taylor has since made an appearance on Good Morning America, saying she hadn't thought about the damage it would cause to her friend.

"She wanted to jump and she was scared and she asked me to give her a push, I didn't think about the consequences," Taylor said.

"I've apologized several times, but I haven't been able to see her in person. I went to the hospital. I got asked to leave; I wasn't allowed to see her.

"I never intended to hurt her, ever. I'm really sorry it turned out that way. I just pray she heals."

To Jordan's credit, she didn't want her friend to be charged for doing something stupid. But as you can imagine, she's since had a change of heart and wouldn't mind seeing her (former) friend 'sit in jail' for pushing her off a bridge.

Folks, the moral of the story is pretty clear: don't push your mate off a bridge. You'll end up being one pal short and potentially spending some time in jail and having to make a new friend there.
