Woman Found With 1kg Of Cannabis Inside Her

A woman was hospitalised after attempting to smuggle 1kg of cannabis inside her vagina and abdomen.

The would-be drugs mule, named only as Gloria, is reported to have been complaining with pains in her stomach and told doctors that she was pregnant.

But when doctors at Ruben Lenero Hospital in Mexico City checked her over they found no heartbeat from a baby, so they transferred her to a specialist women's hospital.

Medics decided to operate on the woman, but instead of finding a baby, that found that her abdomen and vaginal cavity were packed with cannabis, which we can imagine was probably quite the shock for the poor buggers operating on her.

The drugs are reported to have been wrapped in masking tape, but that had broken inside her, revealing the plants which still had clumps of soil attached.

Shocking photos show some of the drugs removed from the woman.

According to reports, the doctor who operated on her was able to safely remove all the drugs and present it to the public ministry as evidence.

The woman was arrested and charged with 'crimes against health', however, the jury decided to let her walk free after they decided that her detention wasn't legal.

Officials have said they will continue to investigate the woman, who is reported to have been convicted of similar crimes in 2010 and 2015.

The woman refused to tell authorities where the drugs had come from.

Earlier this year, a gang of drug dealers in the UK were caught and jailed after they also attempted to smuggle drugs by hiding them inside themselves.

In total 13 men and one woman - aged between 18 and 24 - were hauled up to Warrington Crown Court where they were sentenced for attempting to sneak drugs into Creamfields Festival in a number of imaginative ways - including inside condoms and empty Kinder Egg shells which were then shoved inside...well...I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

All of those caught were handed prison sentences - with the longest being three-years-and-nine months after a man was found with a stash of cocaine and MDMA.
