A young woman was left with a knife in her face after being attacked in Malaysia.
The unnamed woman, who is reported to be 19, was leaving work when a man attempted to rob her.
According to the Daily Mail, the man allegedly tried to grab the woman's bag, but she refused to let get. After a brief scuffle he stabbed the kitchen knife into her face and ran off with her bag.

The incident is reported to have happened in Bukit Tengah, Malaysia at 9.30pm on Tuesday last week.
Footage filmed by a shocked onlooker shows the woman sat down on a wall with the knife still embedded in her face. In the clip the woman can be seen sitting calmly while passers-by attempt to help.
Police said the woman was rushed to hospital where she was treated for her injuries and is recovering from the attack.

One eye-witness told local media: "The victim was struggling with the man who had stolen her valuables.
"The man stabbed the victim's face with a knife then ran away with it still stuck there.
"He escaped and the woman was covered in blood. She was helped by members of the public.''
Seberang Perai Central District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner, Mr Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid, said: ''The victim, who is from Chai Leng Park in Perai, sustained injuries to her abdomen and neck. Her right cheek was also badly injured after the robber stabbed her with a knife.'
''A check at the scene showed that although the car park is located behind a commercial centre, there are street lights at the scene.
''We are collecting the CCTV recordings near the scene to track down the suspect. We are also looking for eyewitnesses to assist us in the investigation.''
Police are now trawling through CCTV footage in an attempt to identify the attacker.
