A YouTuber stumbled upon a GoPro while diving at state park in Tennessee, only to find it contained footage of a man who had mysteriously died in the area years beforehand.

Richard Ragland died on 4 June 2017, just a few days before his 23rd birthday. He had drowned at a waterfall in Foster Falls State Park having gone underwater and never surfacing again - leaving his parents Robin and Gary McCrear with questions about what happened in the moments before his death.
They had hoped to find the answer by watching videos he'd taken with his GoPro camera, but up until now have been unable to find the footage.
Park rangers had sent them an envelope that was supposed to contain a thumb drive, but the McCrears said they opened it and found someone had stolen it.
However, last week, they received a very unexpected call from a YouTuber called Rich Aloha.

"He actually found Richard's GoPro camera," Robin told WSB-TV.
Treasure hunter Rich was diving in the area to see what he could find, and had been told by park rangers about Richard Ragland's death.
Rich opened up the camera and found the SD card was amazingly still in there - and, better still, it was working.

Referring to what happend as an 'out of body experience', he said: "I was going through the footage and I said, 'Oh my God, this is the guy."
Rich then went online and began researching how to get in touch with the family, eventually finding a number and arranging to take the footage to them.
"I'm glad I found it, personally, because I try to do the right thing and get the item back to the rightful owner," Rich said.

The McCrears haven't been able to bring themselves to watch all of the video footage just yet, but they said what they have seen shows their son enjoying himself.
"What we've seen so far is Rich being Rich, living life to the fullest," Robin said.
While it might be a while before they're able to watch the last moments filmed before Richard died, in the meantime they're grateful to the YouTube vlogger for helping provide some answers.
Robin added: "For him to go through his efforts to do his research, make numerous phone calls, he didn't give up until he got in touch with us and that means the world to us."
