It has been reported that Donald Trump has deep ties to Russia in a shocking, but unverified, dossier of memos, which claims that Russia has been 'cultivating, supporting and assisting' the president-elect.

A former British intelligence officer, who, according to CNN, has 'past work that US intelligence officials consider credible', put together a dossier of memos, which BuzzFeed News published in full alongside this statement:

"A dossier making explosive - but unverified - allegations that the Russian government has been "cultivating, supporting and assisting" President-elect Donald Trump for years and gained compromising information about him has been circulating among elected officials, intelligence agents, and journalists for weeks.

One of the memos, which has since gone viral on social media, claims that Russian intelligence officers are seemingly planning to blackmail Trump after he allegedly hired a number of sex workers to perform 'golden showers' for him.

The report claims that the hotel used was rigged with cameras and microphones. It was also, allegedly, a bed the Obama's had previously slept in.

It's important to remember that these claims are unsubstantiated and that Trump has declared them 'fake news'. He and his attorney have both spoken out to blast the 'ridiculous' claims.

Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen, told the Mic: "It's so ridiculous on so many levels. Clearly, the person who created this did so from their imagination or did so hoping that the liberal media would run with this fake story for whatever rationale they might have."
