The dust has barely settled from Saturday night's barnstorming heavyweight clash between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, and Britain's boxing golden boy Anthony Joshua has already called the pair of them out.

The Olympic champion has responded to Wilder's comments that he is 'very interested' in a colossal clash with AJ, and said he is ready whenever to go at it with the American and blames him for the lack of a fight in the past.

Wilder's manager Shelly Finkel told Sky Sports: "We're very interested in the fight. If he wants to be professional and keep it in a private discussion, I'm open to it.

"If everything is in the paper, I have no desire to discuss anything, and let him go fight who he wants."

Well Joshua isn't one to back down from a challenge and took to Twitter and called out both Wilder and Fury.

In the early hours of this morning he wrote: "What took this fool so long? Like we ain't been interested?!! Anyway well done Fury! they wanted to get you because they assumed you was finished!! I'll give you a fair one when your ready! Either one of you."

Negotiations for a fight between Wilder and Joshua broke down earlier this year, but Finkel is willing to go ahead provided that talks with Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn remain private.

According to Sky Sports, Joshua's promoter Hearn has said that Wilder is the first choice to fight AJ for the unified champion's next scheduled title defence at Wembley Stadium on April 13 - saying 'let's see what happens'.

If the mega fight does come to fruition it would see the winner - as long as there's no draw at this one - claim the WBC, WBA 'super', IBF and WBO Heavyweight belts.

Joshua's response comes just three days since Wilder faced Fury in a classic bout for the American's WBC title, which ended in a controversial draw, after the fight was scored 115-111 Wilder (from judge Alejandro Rochin), 114-112 Fury (Robert Tapper) and 113-113 draw (Phil Edwards).

But Fury seems to be willing to wait for his chance against AJ after he confirmed he was up for a rematch with Wilder, despite insisting he deserved a points victory.

"Listen 100 per cent we'll do the rematch, but we're going to go away, recalculate, see what's going to happen, get back together."

But win or draw Fury's performance at the Staples Centre is an inspiration for many as it marked a monumental comeback for the Mancunian after his well-documented battle with mental health, drink, and drugs, which he has struggled with since his heavyweight victory of Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.

Following the fight he said: "It's an iconic comeback, isn't it? After two-and-a-half years out the ring, ten stone ballooned, mental health problems.

"I just showed the world tonight, and everyone suffering with mental health problems, you can come back, and it can be done.

"Everybody out there who has the same problems I've been suffering with, I did that for you guys."

That means 2019 could be an incredible year for boxing.
