He hasn't been his usual loud-mouthed self since having the handcuffs slapped on him for attacking a bus in New York a few days ago, but now Conor McGregor has broken his silence and shared a message on social media.
The former two-weight champion tweeted a picture of himself leaving court, accompanied by a praying emoji as the caption, but quickly deleted it not long after posting.
The post seemed to be a call for some sort of divine intervention by the Irish UFC star, who could be be facing jail time, according to New York's sentencing guidelines.
He will return to the city on the 14 April for his next hearing.
He is charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief, after the altercation in a parking lot at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn which left two UFC fighters injured.
The incident could also mean that McGregor is unable to fight in New York again, although he is rumoured to be targeting a return to the octagon as soon as possible.
"[There has been] so much rumour and misinformation about my client, Conor McGregor," his agent, Audie Attar, wrote in a statement published to Twitter over the weekend.
"The matter is in the hands of law enforcement and I cannot really say more.
"Conor is a great father, a fiercely loyal friend and one of the best athletes in the world.
"He looks forward to getting back to fighting as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, former opponent Floyd Mayweather has hinted that he may come out of retirement to pursue an MMA fight with the Irishman.
Mayweather told Showtime's Jim Gray: "Retirement has been great, but as you know and everyone knows, I go in retirement and I come back.
"It is possible I do come back, but if I do come back, it has to be in the Octagon.
"I spoke with my team. I spoke with [adviser] Al Haymon. Al Haymon says no. I spoke with Showtime. I spoke with [Showtime parent company] CBS. If I do come back, Showtime and CBS have to be involved.
"Showtime, CBS, if we can get together with Dana White and UFC and make a mega fight happen, one fight, it could be against Conor McGregor, we don't know. But we could do a multi fight deal, but Showtime and CBS has to be involved."
