Conor McGregor Causes Outrage As He 'Films Himself Driving'

It's not the first time the MMA star has angered fans by filming while at the wheel

In the clip, which McGregor uploaded to Instagram, he can be seen appearing to drive while laughing - a lot. But is he wearing a seatbelt, so that's something.

The MMA star has shared similar videos in the past and has been slammed for using his phone while driving.

Twice last year, he uploaded videos which appeared to be taken while driving, including one with his, then heavily pregnant partner Dee Devlin, not wearing a seatbelt and with her feet on the dashboard.

Fans commented: "Let's hope pride and ego save you in a crash."

Another commented: "Good use of a seat belt and using your phone at the wheel. Smart."

In Ireland, you could be whacked with a fine of around £70 and three points if caught using your mobile phone while driving - which includes filming weird videos.

McGregor has already appeared in court over his car; in November last year, he was summoned to court in Dublin for not paying speeding fines.

McGregor was originally charged for breaking a 60mph (96kmph) speed limit in Dublin earlier this year, and was charged €80 (£70/$95). However, he didn't make the payment, and also failed to turn up in court - three times. And Judge Miriam Walsh was not impressed.

"I got the fixed charge notice and attempted to pay it," McGregor said. "It didn't pay and that's it."

But the judge wasn't going to let him off lightly, adding: "That's not it."

She also told him that he must begin to 'take cognisance of other people using the road'.

He was given two months to stump up the cash and was even told he could pay in instalments if required - but given that he's worth millions, we can assume he didn't need to take advantage of a payment plan.
