Jake Paul has confirmed a tattoo artist will be present at ringside for his upcoming boxing showdown with Tyron Woodley, ready to tattoo the winner's name on the losing fighter.

The YouTuber-turned-celeb-boxer is set to face the former UFC champion this Sunday, as he looks to make it four wins from four since stepping into the ring.

However, it seems there will be more than records on the line when both men square off.

During a recent press conference a wager was made between the two, which will see the loser permanently stamped with 'I love', followed by their opponent's name.

Speaking to fellow YouTuber True Geordie, aka Brian Davis, Paul confirmed that he would indeed be bringing a tattoo artist with him to the fight.

Not only that, but should he emerge victorious, he would be sending her straight to Woodley's dressing room.

He told Davis: "I have a tattoo artist, one of the biggest tattoo artists in the world, Tattoo Baby, is coming to the fight.

"She has her equipment, so after the fight I'm sending her to his dressing room to get it done, I swear."

Woodley himself has suggested he'd be considerably more lenient with the forfeit, offering an alternative plan for his foe if things go his way.

Speaking to The MMA Hour, he said: "I'll let [Paul] negotiate. If he doesn't want to get the tattoo, you have got to pay me a nice bag.

"It was his bet. Either you get the tattoo or you give out some cash. Donate it to my charity."

Paul's boxing career has gotten off to pretty much the perfect start, winning all three of his pro bouts by knockout.

His last fight saw him emphatically defeat another former UFC competitor, Ben Askren, in less than two minutes.

With that being said, none of his previous opponents possess the same kind of combat reputation as MMA star Woodley.

He held the UFC's welterweight title for nearly three consecutive years, successfully defending the belt four times.

The event will take place this Sunday (29 August). The undercard will feature Amanda Serrano facing off with Yamileth Mercado-for the WBC, WBO and IBO World Featherweight titles.

Also set to feature are Daniel Dubois versus Juiseppe Cusumano, and Tommy Fury against Anthony Taylor.
