The ex-wife of celebrity body builder Rich Piana has said that he has died after being placed in a coma earlier this month.
Taking to Instagram, Sara Piana wrote: I'm in tears writing this that @1dayumay has just passed away. I can can hardly believe this... I am so saddened & heartbroken that he didn't make it."
Fans and fitness enthusiasts have also turned to social media to share their tributes following the news, which is yet to be officially confirmed.
Forty-six-year old Piana was rushed into hospital on 10 August after falling ill at home.
Just last week his girlfriend, Chanel Jansen, posted a photo of her hand holding his and asked for 'positive thoughts' from fans.
