Total Recall was the favourite to win after starting at 7-1, although commentators on ITV explained minutes before the race that the horse was looking 'a little sweaty, but that's not unusual for him'.
Winning the race by a whisker, Tiger Roll (10-1) was almost beaten by a storming late charge from Pleasant Company (25-1), who came in second.
