Real Madrid Have Won The Champions League

It's their 13th Champions League win

Real Madrid have won the Champions League after a 3-1 win.

Liverpool's star player Mo Salah was taken off the pitch in tears early in the game after suffering a suspected dislocated shoulder following an awkward clash with Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos.

Real Madrid took the lead in Kiev, with a goal from Karim Benzema in the 51st minute - I'm sure even Real fans would agree it was a pretty weak goal, with Liverpool keeper Loris Karius throwing the ball out and it hitting Benzema's foot and going in.

Even Usain Bolt thought it was a bit off...

Liverpool quickly equalised with Sadio Mane scoring from James Milner's corner in the 55th minute.

Real got one back in 63rd thanks to a wonderful goal from Gareth Bale - as poor as the first goal was, there's no denying that was a goal worthy of a Champion's League final.

And it got Usain's approval:

Liverpool appealed for a penalty in the 73rd minute as Roberto Firmino's shot hits Casemiro's elbow, but the ref wasn't convinced and they played on.

Bale put another one in the net in the 83rd minute, arguably down to another poor move from Karius.

If you'd care for Bolt's opinion on that, well...

Liverpool fans are bound to be less than happy at the fact they lost Salah so early on in the game, because it's so easy to imagine a very different outcome had he not been injured; and I think questions will be raised over Karius place in the squad going forward.

However, none of that that takes away from the fact Real Madrid played a good game - congrats, fellas.
