Apple is launching a new iPhone iOS 14 update today (Wednesday), which brings with it a whole host of new features.
The new update will make your device 'more intelligent, more personal, and more private' and is free to download from the app store for iPhone 6s and above.
One interesting new feature is the 'Picture in Picture' mode, which allows you to do various things simultaneously - so you can do bits and pieces on your phone or FaceTime while half watching Netflix.

Widgets have been totally redesigned to enable you to see more information at a glance. You can change the size of the widgets and use 'Smart Stack' which 'intelligently curates' their arrangement based on which apps you use the most.
'Compact Calls' do exactly what they say on the tin - calls of any kind appear in a new compact design, meaning they don't take up your whole screen.
You're also able to order message conversations in order of importance by pinning chats and have access to a new range of Memojis, many of which now feature face coverings.

An all-new 'Translate' app should make conversations across languages easier than ever before too. It's compatible across 11 different languages and it enables you to simply speak into the microphone and have your words translated to a language of your choosing.
Unveiling the new iOS 14 update, Apple said: "Looks brand new. Feels like home.
"iOS 14 brings a fresh look to the things you do most often, making them easier than ever. New features help you get what you need in the moment. And the apps you use all the time become even more intelligent, more personal, and more private.
"You're able to do more with your iPhone than ever before. So iOS 14 reimagines the most iconic parts of the experience to be even more helpful and personal."
