Gogglebox fans have demanded a certain show be banned after it left them 'traumatised' during last night's episode. Watch the scene below:

During Friday night's episode (12 November) of the hit series, regulars such as Ellie and Izzi and the Malones settled down to watch Netflix's new nature documentary-series Animal.

And while it follows some of the world's most impressive and majestic creatures, it also shows their brutal fight for survival.

In one of the scenes, we see a pack of kangaroos being chased by a group of dingos through the Australian outback.

During the chase, a kangaroo mother begins to fall away and her joey tumbles out of the pouch and is left behind as the predators close in.

The joey is then quickly set upon by the pack of hungry dingos.

The heartbreaking scene left many viewers in shock, with some calling for the 'traumatising' show to be axed from future episodes.

One user blasted: "That documentary 'Animals' is awful, f**k you very much for filming that baby roo being eaten and f**k you for showing us gogglebox."

Another chimed in: "Please stop showing horrific animal stories, like tonight's Joey and Dingo clip. I avoid watching those programmes as they play on my mind, only to be tricked into watching them on your programme!! The warnings are too vague and insufficient."

"The nature programmes that they show are literally traumatising," put a third.

While another added: "Why in every single bloody episode of #gogglebox is there a nature programme with some poor animal running for its life."

Not everyone was so shocked though, and some actually criticised the 'hypocrites' out there for being upset about a wildlife documentary but having no problem with eating meat themselves.

"Unfathomably illogical muddle-headed hypocrites on #Gogglebox - getting upset watching wild animals being wild animals - then they'll go back to eating KFC or a dairy filled cake without any connection to the #needless murder of baby animals that they all pay for," wrote one.

LADbible has contacted Channel 4 for a comment.
