Cadbury Has Released A Brand New Selection Box Ahead Of Christmas

It looks amazing

I probably don't need to tell you that Christmas is soon upon us. As December draws closer, Yuletide cheer will sweep the nation, town centres will be lit up with festive decorations, children will knock on doors singing carols and, most importantly, we'll all be able to drink heavily for days on end without anybody questioning it. Oh, how I wish it could be Christmas every day.

Besides the unquestioned boozing, it's hard to think of anything better about xmas than the abundance of chocolate that kids and adults alike receive as presents. You're never too old for a selection box: as proven by Cadbury's new '2017 Retro Selection Box' which is pretty obviously aimed at those of us aged 18 plus.

Cadbury describes it as: "A special Christmas selection box which contains a classic collection of Dairy Milk, Dairy Milk Whole Nut, Dairy Milk Caramel and Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut in Cadbury heritage wraps. An original Cadbury Christmas gift to wish 'Merry Christmas' which makes a great Christmas gift or stocking filler."

We're not talking those usual small 'two bites and you're done' chocolate bars in this selection box either. We're talking four of those big fuckers: 110/120gs of chocolate ostensibly meant for 'sharing' but in reality kept for just one.

And this isn't the only retro release we've seen from Cadbury this year either, in August the company brought back the Dairy Milk Tiffin.

The Dairy Milk Tiffin was introduced way back in 1937, but the company pulled the bar in 2003 - only for it to be brought back after a ilmited-edition trial run of the chocolate.

At the time of the re-release Katrina Davison from Cadbury, told the Daily Star: "Cadbury Dairy Milk Tiffin has always been a firm favourite amongst chocolate lovers and is perfect for sharing.

"Last year, we released a limited-edition bar in the summer and the response was incredible!

"With so many fans campaigning for its permanent return on social media, we just knew we had to bring it back for good this time."

All this thinking about chocolate is making me hungry.
